Krav Maga is a military self-defence and fighting system developed for the
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli security forces derived from a combination of
techniques sourced from Aikido, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, and Karate among others.

Krav Maga develops your natural reflexes
into easy to learn and effective self-defence techniques.

 

Self-defence isn’t all about fighting, it’s about using force where
and when necessary if all attempts to evade or de-escalate
have either failed or would not work.

You will learn to better control your fight, flight & freeze responses to your advantage as well as getting to grips with the laws around the use of reasonable force, whether it’s to defend yourself or a third party.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Every class starts with a warm up, stretching and exercises. This is done in a way that is relevant to the class at a pace that is comfortable for each student regardless of age, fitness & ability.

DEMONSTRATION & EXPLAINATION

The main part of the class, in-depth teaching of techniques and principles
that the instructor wishes to cover. In this part of the class you will get the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and get a deeper understanding of the Krav Maga system. You will train and practise with a supportive partner whilst the instructor monitors the group and advances the subject matter along.

PRACTISE

As you progress with your trial classes you will build your skills and grow your knowledge over the weeks, this benefits you in a way that makes you able to perform theses skills understress. We want our students to walk with confidence and knowledge that if a situation should present itself you have the best opportunity that you can to make good decisions that will get you and your loved ones home safely.

TESTING YOUR REACTIONS

This is commonly known as summery drills or stress testing. Krav Maga is a realistic system if you can't perform techniques under stress then they are useless. Our training will enable you to test your reactions under more pressure. This instills the natural reactions we need and builds confidence in you. More experience improves your fight and flight responses which also improves your decision-making abilities and makes you better at performing under pressure.

Wear clothes you are comfortable training in

Bring some water as you will need it during your session

A towel if you sweat a lot!

Wear comfortable trainers as we do not train barefoot

A positive attitude and a desire to train & learn.
